I am running for Sangamon County State’s Attorney to restore trust and integrity to government.  We in Sangamon County have sat on the sidelines and watched as our government has been raided by politically corrupt figures.  Former Governor Ryan is in Federal prison and Governor Blagojevich is headed to prison.

As Sangamon County State’s Attorney I will bring together a dedicated staff of investigators and attorneys to form a special “Public Corruption Unit” to continuously monitor state and local contracts.  We want public leaders we can trust; and when they breach that trust we want to hold them accountable.  If our leaders under the statehouse dome or in the Sangamon County complex violate our trust, as State’s Attorney, I will take the initiative to prosecute corrupt public officials for unlawful conduct committed in Sangamon county.

I have years of experience from securities fraud to criminal misdemeanor/felony prosecutions.  I am a United States Marine Corps veteran, honorably discharged after five years of dedicated service.  I have a bachelors degree in Business, a Masters in Policy Economics, and a Juris Doctorate.

As State’s Attorney, I will strive to achieve a level of trust with Sangamon County citizens and serve with the highest distinction.  I want to form a special public corruption unit, rid our community of drugs and drunk drivers, safeguard the children in our community, and protect victims of violent crimes.
